About the Landing Pad
and Ketron Island
Ketron Island is located in the Puget Sound, about a half mile off shore from Steilacoom, Fort Lewis, and Tacoma. There are about 22 full-time residents and others that are seasonal. The entire island including the roads, is privately owned and everyone on the island enjoys their privacy and little slice of Pacific Northwest paradise. You may not see many of the residents while you are there, but if you need anything, Linda will provide the phone number of one of the locals who has become one of her dear friends.
The Landing Pad consists of a tiny house which has a queen-sized bed in a sleep nook, an incinerator toilet, a sink with running water, a kitchenette for making tea and coffee, and a mini mini fridge for your basic necessities. In the outdoor kitchen there is a two-burner cooktop, a toaster oven and air fryer, a sink for washing dishes, and a full sized refrigerator and freezer for storing anything you can't fit in the mini-fridge. The outdoor shower has hot water and is so lovely!
